The Mazaggs is located right on Lake Achensee in Tyrol. You can find us here.

A spacious underground parking garage is available for our guests right next to the building, which you can use conveniently and securely throughout your entire stay.

There is also a covered drop-off area, so you can load and unload your luggage right in front of the building at any time. This ensures a relaxed arrival—regardless of the weather or time of day.

Electric vehicle charging stations are available for our guests in our underground parking garage. You are welcome to use them during your stay. A fee applies.

Your room will be available from 3:00 PM on the day of your arrival. On the day of your departure, we ask that you check out by 11:00 AM.

If you would like to arrive earlier or depart later, please feel free to contact us. Depending on availability, we can accommodate a flexible arrival or a relaxed departure from Mazaggs.

Our team will be happy to assist you with your luggage upon arrival and departure, if you wish.

Our front desk is always available to assist you with recommendations, reservations, and any personal requests.

Mazaggs is fully accessible. We would be happy to provide you with personalized advice on the details before your arrival.

Out of consideration for guests with allergies, we can only accommodate dogs in certain areas of our hotel, subject to availability. Your four-legged companions are welcome on the terrace and in select areas of the restaurant.

All suites and the hotel's public areas are non-smoking.

At Mazaggs, you can choose between breakfast and half-board.

Our half-board option combines delightful simplicity with culinary care: it includes a finely balanced breakfast, a light lunch, and a multi-course dinner menu that brings the day to a delightful close.

Regardless of this, our Siegfrieds restaurant is always open to you for à la carte dining.

Our restaurant offers vegetarian and vegan dishes, and we are happy to accommodate any special requests.

Reservations are recommended, especially for dinner.

For hotel guests, we offer personalized private dining experiences in select suites equipped with their own kitchens. Upon request, our team can arrange for a private chef to create a culinary experience tailored specifically to your preferences.

Our Siegfrieds restaurant is designed to be open to guests from outside the hotel. A separate entrance allows guests to visit the restaurant without staying at the hotel.

The golf course is located just about 300 meters from Mazaggs and is a short walk away. Upon request, our guests can use golf carts to get to the course, subject to availability.

Our front desk will be happy to arrange your tee times and is always available to discuss your needs with you personally.

Our golfing friends enjoy exclusive benefits when playing at the Achensee Golf and Country Club. As a guest at Mazaggs, you’ll receive a green fee discount of approximately 20% off the regular course fees at Achensee—a nice bonus to make your round even more enjoyable.

A wide variety of activities await you around Lake Achensee in every season.

During the warmer months, the lake and the surrounding mountains invite you to enjoy water sports such as swimming, sailing, or stand-up paddleboarding, as well as hiking, biking, and leisurely walks. During this time, the Achensee steamboats also operate, offering trips with spectacular views across the lake.

Spring and fall offer ideal conditions for peaceful nature experiences, panoramic hikes, and leisurely excursions in the region.

In winter, in addition to alpine skiing, you can choose from cross-country skiing, winter hiking, snowshoeing, tobogganing, and horse-drawn sleigh rides. During the Advent season, atmospheric special cruises by Achensee-Schifffahrt enhance the winter experience.

Art is a central feature of the Mazagg and plays a key role in shaping the atmosphere of the hotel. Carefully curated works by contemporary artists accompany our guests through the suites, public spaces, and the hotel’s own gallery.

As part of our artist-in-residence program, selected artists live and work at Mazaggs for a period of time. New works are created right on site—guests have the opportunity to witness art in the making and engage with the artists.

The Mazaggs sees itself as a vibrant hub for cultural dialogue. In addition to rotating exhibitions, it regularly hosts events and openings that open up new perspectives and bring art to life.
