Your Role: Guardian of the Substance
You work behind the scenes, just like the stage technicians and set designers: unobtrusively, precisely, and indispensably. You ensure that the building, grounds, and technical systems function flawlessly and that the property maintains its high standards. With care, you preserve the essence of the Mazagg—and create a reliable foundation that ensures guests feel at home and that every process runs smoothly.
Your Responsibilities
- Maintenance and upkeep of the building and outdoor facilities through regular inspections and proactive maintenance measures
- Careful upkeep and maintenance of technical equipment, machinery, and alarm systems to ensure the hotel operates smoothly
- Gardening and seasonal maintenance of green spaces
- Professional execution of repair work and support for external specialists on larger projects
- Coordination with external contractors as needed
- Assistance with setup and takedown during events
- Working discreetly while guest operations are in progress
- Attention to order, cleanliness, and safety throughout the property
- Close collaboration with housekeeping, the front desk, and management

Your Profile
- Manual dexterity and technical understanding; completion of an apprenticeship in a trade (e.g., electrician, carpenter, plumber, or similar) is a plus
- Several years of professional experience, preferably in a hotel setting, as a custodian, gardener, or in a comparable role is a plus
- Respectful interaction with the property, the team, and guests
- An understanding that cleanliness and order contribute significantly to a sense of well-being
- Ability to work independently with an eye for detail, a sense of responsibility, and discretion
- A very meticulous, reliable, and organized approach to work
- Very good knowledge of German
Salary
The minimum gross salary under the collective bargaining agreement is €2,165.00 per month on a full-time basis. Depending on qualifications and relevant professional experience, a significant salary above this amount is provided.
